Artificial Intelligence (AI) Specialist x 3

Role and responsibilities

As an Artificial Intelligence Specialist, you will be working alongside the Computational Biologist team to integrate the new algorithms and solutions developed. Our technology and future developments are focused around using AI to revolutionise how we target, predict and unlock new drugs and preventative molecules for various diseases.

In addition to this, the other responsibilities will cover areas such as:

• Responsible for applying the core technologies of machine learning, deep learning, and intelligent decision-making in R&D or related projects;
• You will maintain expert knowledge in state of the art AI approaches
• You will lead AI projects through each phase, including scoping of the initial solution, development of an MVP.

 

 

Qualifications & Experience

• MS from a top-tier institution or globally recognized program in Computer Science or PhD in computer science/Maths/statistics or related fields
• 5+ years of professional hands-on experience as an AI engineer and architect
• Knowledge and good hands-on experience of common machine learning frameworks.
• You have experience in one or more of the following AI areas:
  • Biology Modelling
  • Knowledge Representation and Reasoning
  • Natural Language Processing
  • Image Processing
• Between 5-7 years of experience in software development is required
• A strong knowledge of functional, OOP, and logical programming paradigms
• Fluency in scripting languages, Python is a big plus
• Experience in Git version control systems is preferred
• Experience working with large amounts of data
• Excellent algorithm design skills and data structure knowledge
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
• Motivated and pro-active, interested in addressing complex challenges in computer science
• Dream to work in a rapid pace, growing and dynamic company, startup experience as a plus
